Embark on the Full Day Rafting Adventure with Glenwood Canyon Rafting for a chance to slow down and spend a day floating at the gentle pace of the river. The adventure begins in the heart of Glenwood Canyon, featuring an exhilarating 1.5-mile descent through the action-filled and continuous Class III Shoshone Rapids. Transitioning from Grizzly Creek, the trip leads into a more leisurely and scenic section of the river. This beautiful float, complete with intermittent splashes and occasional Class II-III waves, guides adventurers through the towering 1500' walls of Glenwood Canyon, concluding in Glenwood Springs. During the morning section, the Full Day Rafting Adventure ensures a perfect blend of whitewater thrills, stunning scenery, and moments of relaxation.

For lunch, indulge in a professionally catered riverside lunch at our private river park, located just downstream of the Glenwood Whitewater Park. This experience caters to nearly all dietary restrictions and preferences (Please communicate all dietary restrictions to Glenwood Canyon Rafting staff during the reservation process for proper preparation and to discuss options/limitations). After refueling, guests continue downstream with the guide and raft, now with the additional option to add one or two-person inflatable kayaks to enhance the experience. This choice is based on each group's preference, with the guide remaining in the raft to ensure every member feels comfortable and secure, allowing for a return to the raft if inflatable kayaking becomes more adventurous than desired. During the afternoon section passing through South Canyon, guests have the opportunity to witness an active Bald Eagle nesting area and a Great Blue Heron rookery (nesting area), with additional wildlife sightings always possible.

The overall length of the trip may vary depending on the current river flows and conditions, with an 18-mile float lasting 4 - 5.5 hours on the river being most common (5.5 - 6.5 hours in total).
